Reference error infected all versions of the same file

Hello everyone, hope my post finds you well. As my title says, I'm a cost controller, newish here at my company, and today I was updating a link between two excel files, when out of nowhere a reference error came out, while the linked file hasn't been changed ( came from headquarters which has a specific structure ).

while trying to get a precedent version to take the formula from it and paste it in my damaged file, i find that it has also been, corrupted, and all versions i have in a google drive shared by the last cost controller is getting the error as soon as I open it, even if i import it directly in a new google sheets, it's the same problem.

I tried many solutions on the internet, be it manual calculating, unchecking some boxes and all of that. Please if anyone has a solution I'd be immensely grateful as anyone who stumbles upon this post, I apologize for my english since it's not my main language. ( I plan to ask the ex cost controller to give me an old version from his own pc, but I'm afraid the same thing will happen again). Thank you in advance
