Media publications not photo crediting me

I work under a restaurant group with 7 restaurants and we keep getting articles with Axios, Eater, Portland Monthly, etc. which is great, but this is the third time in a month my photos aren’t being credited and I’m starting to feel like a beggar emailing the writers and our PR people to credit me (and they say they will but don’t). That or they write “courtesy of restaurant” a lot. I include my name in the photo files I send and I also make sure to ask if they can please credit me in the email.

Just last week I emailed a writer mine and another photographers photo credits (with our individual names on each file) and she still incorrectly credited all the photos to the other photographer instead of me. I nicely sent a follow up and asked if she could update mine to be correct and she still hasn’t fixed it.

How do I put more pressure and advocate for myself without coming across like a dick or begging?

*Also just as a side note most publications/news articles have been great it’s just these past few months.
